I have loved being in the hot room since I took my first Bikram class in November of 2013 and I have been a devoted follower ever since. Yoga has been a perfect complement to my marathon running, but as I get older I have realized that I need a variety of workouts to keep my body fresh and injury-free. I took my first Inferno Hot Pilates class in December of 2015 at Bikram Yoga Grass Valley (now Warmth) and loved the intensity and the way I felt muscles I never knew I had.
I had taught group fitness classes for 16 years but once I started my career as a middle school teacher, I had to give it up yet I have missed the excitement and fun of helping others be their healthiest self. I attended the IHP training in San Francisco in 2016 and started teaching classes soon thereafter in studios in Livermore, Dublin, and Santa Rosa.
I am the owner of Kristin Jones Coaching, where I specialize in helping people regain the fitness, health, and vitality they once knew, and I incorporate many aspects of IHP into my training of clients. I absolutely love the workout and the changes it can make to the physical body, but more than that, it is the empowerment, acceptance, and personal responsibility that the class provides for its students that motivates me to be the best teacher I can be for my students.
Where is your favorite place to spend time in Nevada County
(other than Warmth of course)?
